A renovated studio that has kept the character of the old Ligurian houses: the brick vault, the exposed stone. The sea, the boat pier and the start of the Sentiero Azzurro trail to Vernazza are 200 metres away, and the station is 8 minutes on foot. Everything here is within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time at Alessia’s place! We found it welcoming, spotless and fresh when we arrived, and Alessia was kind enough to let us check in much earlier! It was also very easy to find the apartment thanks to the directions provided and the host’s clear, quick replies. The location is perfect for reaching the beautiful beaches of Monterosso and the many bars and restaurants this gem of a place has to offer. Alessia was even kind enough to suggest the best spots for dinner or an evening aperitivo! I highly recommend this apartment, our experience was flawless! Thank you Alessia and Davide, we will definitely be back!

Gianna’s home was a wonderful place to stay in Monterosso. The beach was a few steps away and we got great tips about the local food! It was much nicer than staying in a hotel, and our whole family had enough space to feel comfortable.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The instructions with maps and photos were very helpful for finding the place, especially in Italy, where addresses tend to be a little vague. Alessia was very helpful and responsive to my requests. The apartment was charming and the neighbourhood quite quiet and away from the crowds. It is also just a short walk from the train station.

What a wonderful place to stay. Of all the villages in the Cinque Terre, Monterosso is the nicest base. This house is in a fantastic spot: no stairs, very easy to find and quite central too. Alessia was responsive and helpful, and the stay was simply pleasant. Everything we needed was there. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic place in Monterosso! We were in Italy for 10 days on a tight budget and this was 100% the best place we stayed in (3 nights). Clean beds and kitchen, towels, washing machine with a drying rack, a quiet patio outside next to the apartment, and close enough to the train station too. 😄👍

Alessia’s place was wonderful and it was very convenient to walk to the beach in Monterosso, which was the main reason we chose the house. The restaurants and the local grocery shop (which was very useful) are very close and within walking distance too. Alessia’s team also helped us sort out an issue with access to the house and were very responsive and helpful. Thank you for everything!

It was a fantastic stay! Alessia was super kind and really helpful with everything! The house was clean, quiet and just like the photos. It was very welcoming and comfortably hosted five of us. And back to the fantastic host: there was a train strike and she managed to help us with everything! All in all, fantastic, fantastic, FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend staying here!

Hi, I’m Alessia, your host in Monterosso. I’m from here, I look after the three houses one by one, and I know the town off season just as well as in August. If you need a tip on what to see, how to get around or where to eat, just ask.

My houses sit right inside the Cinque Terre, between panoramic hikes and days by the sea. I can’t wait to make you feel at home and show you the best of this wonderful place.

The area

Monterosso is the right place to set out from

The sea here is the clearest of the Cinque Terre, and this is the only village on the coast with a real sandy beach: water that stays transparent even at the height of summer, where the day begins and ends with a swim. From the old town the Sentiero Azzurro takes you on foot to the other villages, the walk people come all this way for, and when your legs have had enough the train reaches them in minutes, up to 4 departures an hour. And by boat you follow the protected marine area for the finest view of all: the villages seen from the water.
